AccessAbility Center (Student Disability Services)

The AccessAbility Center (AAC) facilitates equal access and coordinates reasonable accommodations, academic adjustments, and support services for City College Students with disabilities while preserving the integrity of academic standards. AAC strives to increase disability awareness among members of the community and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Amended in 2008, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Students who would like to do so by self-identifying to AAC, which involves scheduling an appointment with an AAC counselor, completing a short intake form, and submitting disability-related documentation. While students may self-identify at any time, it is best to do so as early as possible to ensure services are in place at the start of the semester.
